Application

Vacuum thoroughly to remove loose dirt.
If carpet is being cleaned for the first time, check for colorfastness on hidden area.
Shake can well before and frequently during use.
To apply Carpet Cleaner, hold can upside down two feet from carpet.
Depress Button Completely to spray even layer of foam onto carpet.
With a damp mop or sponge, spread foam into carpet.
Continue to work into carpet until entire area is clean.
For stubborn dirt and stains: rinse and blot area with a clean, damp, colorfast sponge or cloth, and repeat until the carpet is clean.
When dry, vacuum thoroughly.
Drying time may vary due to humidity and length of carpet pile.
For best results, use vacuum at top suction with a fresh, empty bag.
If accidentally sprayed on furniture, just wipe off.
Vacuum thoroughly to remove loose dirt.
For best results, pretreat tough stains with Carpet Cleaner.
For full size deep cleaning machines and rental machines recommended dosage is 4 oz.
For many leading machines, the cleaning solution tank holds one gallon of the cleaning solution.

Precautions

Powdered forms can result in high dust levels, causing irritation to eyes, nose and throat.
Organic solvents may form vapours, which when inhaled can damage the nervous system.
If splashed on skin can cause localised dermatitis, and gain entry into the body.
Avoid products containing organic solvents.
Wear gloves, preferably Neoprene or Nitrile.
Ensure good ventilation.
Wear a dust mask if dust cannot be avoided.
Wear overalls.
Pretest before using.
Protect the carpet from rust stains by putting aluminum foil, wax paper, or plastic wrap under furniture legs, until carpet is dry.
Follow the cleaner and equipment instructions as directed.
Do not over wet the carpet.
Excess moisture can cause shrinkage, streaks, or mildew.
Keep mechanical action to a minimum to avoid carpet damage or streaks.
Keep children and pets away from newly cleaned carpets until thoroughly dry.
In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with water.
Do not mix with bleach or other household products.
Certain stains may cause permanent discoloration even after cleaning.
Irritation to eyes and possibly skin.
Avoid contact with eyes or skin.
In case of eye or skin contact, immediately flush with water.
Remove contact lenses.
Continue to flush eyes or skin with water for at least 15 minutes.
If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

This product is non-caustic, non-flammable, and does not contain chlorine bleach.

Spill or Leak Procedures

Steps to be Taken in Case Small spills of one gallon or less may be flushed with plenty of water to sanitary sewer system (If permitted by local sewer regulations).
Dike and contain large spills with inert material and transfer liquid to containers for recovery or disposal.
